Abstract

|
The authors report here on the management of two skeletally immature patients with osteosarcoma, one of the proximal humerus and the other of the entire humerus. The patients were introduced into neoadjuvant chemotherapy, including preoperative & postoperative chemotherapy. After resecting the tumor by wide-margin, the reconstructive method, involving ipsi-lateral rotation of the clavicle, first devised and developed by Winkelmann9), were used. Excellent results were obtained and reported with literature review.
